A. The national minimum wage has last been revised upwards to Rs. 66/- per day with effect from 1.02.2004 on the basis of the recommendations of Central Advisory Board. All the States/UTs Governments have been requested by Hon ble Labour Minister to ensure fixation/revision of minimum rates of wages in all the scheduled employments not below Rs. 66/- per day. The minimum wages act covers labourers employed in different spheres. The rates of minimum wages vary from state to state and also according to the nature of work. It does not encompass office employees. As on 31-12-2004, minimum wages in Tamil Nadu varied from Rs. 47.37 to Rs. 130.00.

A. technically difficult to recieve beyond a range for FM stations. there will be overlapping in certain fquency ranges. there are Radio station short wave SW. that can be recieve any where. there are many tamil online and satelite radio channels available. You need a worldspace reciever and licence to recieve satelite radio programs. here few links for internet Tamil FM providers/lists another option is subscribe to SUN DTH , DD DTH both provide FM radio channels thruogh Dish network. DD Dth comes without montly subcription charges and provides 21 radio channels including FM Rainbow CHennai, FM GOLD chennai. and other language channels. A. sri venkateshwara college of engineering , sriperumbudur has been offering BTech marine engineering for several years , and is one of the best in tamil nadu . also , there is AMET , chennai which is rather well-known for its marine-related courses . but it is one of the 44 deemed universities which are considered to be below-average . as for career options after marine engineering , you can become a marine engineer , or part of the merchant navy , etc . the pay is good , but you will have to spend many days out into the sea .

A. Samanam is Jainism. To my knowledge Budhism though existing in few places never popular in Tamil Nadu . Jainsm and Saivam had fightings and people stand by the ruler. once Jainism was crushing saivam, then vice versa. if the ruler follows Jainism that growed, otherwise it declined. after 10th century there no important ruler followed Jainism there are wonderful Chithannavasal ( near Trichy/Pudukottai-Keeranu r)paintings one among remains of samanars memory. there was a jain temple in chitharal (Kanyakumari) there are many samanars(tamil speaking jains) still exist in area nearby aaranai. they do not have any direct relationship with of those North indian Jains

It is always wiser to change your car registration as you can be free from any kind of trouble later. ensure that you take the NOC from the Karnataka RTO that can be presented in the TN RTO, other wise the registration procedure will really a take a long time. It is difficult to tell you the exact official formalities taking place in the TN RTO. Personal visit is always better as you can clear your queries and finish the procedure with out any complications.
